• Make sure that the candle is standing up straight.

• Before lighting a candle, shorten the wick. The ideal wick length is about 1 cm.

• Flames should be snuffed out. Do not blow out candles.

• Always place candles in suitable holders.

• Keep away matches or other small things from the liquid wax to avoid ignition.

• Do not move burning candles.

• When using tealights in a teapot-warmer or any other container, make sure there is enough air supply.

• Use a suitable container, as these candles will become liquid when they are burning.
