AntiFrost Candles for your cultures
Müller AntiFrostCandles come in metal containers, allowing a burn time of approximately 10 hours, depending on outside temperature, humidity, and wind. They are quick to light and, with a diameter of 21 cm and a height of 25.5 cm, are stable even on uneven ground.
How AntiFrost Candles work
Müller AntiFrost Candles can warm the air layers near the ground in vineyards or orchards. This makes it relatively easy to use and prevent damage to crops caused by spring frost.
Depending on the type and density of installation, temperatures as low as -6°C can be maintained at above 0°C during frost.
The graphic shows a setup every four rows of vines, spaced 5 meters apart along the row (approximately 300 AntiFrost Candles per hectare).
In severe frost, additional AntiFrost Candles can be lit as needed. In the graphic, these AntiFrost Candles are shown in gray and without a flame.
